There's currently a major tornado outbreak for central/south florida right now, every 30 minutes for the past several hours we've been getting alerts. I've honestly never seen this in my entire life, which is so funny to me cos as a little child I was always told tornado's don't come to florida, booooooy oh boy how wrong these people were lmao.

man it sure fucking sucks to go without power and water and cell service for days w no end in sight
#hurricane helene wasnt even the problem tho she didnt help the situation#over a foot of rain fell before she'd even made landfall and the flooding has utterly obliterated the area#staying at a friends house tonight that has power and water and cell service (sporatic) knowing itll be DAYS before we see any utilities#i finally got a glimpse of the devastation on the news and... how do u even come back from this??#half the city and surrounding area was underwater or buried in mud#i cant even sleep rn after seeing all thats happened#at least ive been able to finally get in touch with family but so many ppl are still missing#personal
